What makes one man's work "pretty good" and another man's work exceptional? The answer is simple: The man himself.

Keneth's passion for building the best and and building things right started with when his father taught him how to hold a wrench, fit a pipe and bend a piece of steel. He was only ten years old at the time, but he revered the craftsmanship of his father. "Oh the difference between almost right and exactly right" his father would tell him. Together the father and son learned the ways of the U.S. pool building through a year long work study in Florida. What they learned is that our pools had to be stronger.  In Costa Rica, the focus is often on making things "cheap". At Piscinas Tropicales the focus is on making your pool dependable, strong, long-lasting and trouble free. But  the pools must also be beautiful and compliment the surrounding nature like a piece of art. 

Keneth's father taught him the art of pool building starting over 20 years ago. He learned that a good design and build begins by listening to you. But listening to your ideas of what you want are just part of the story.

How your pool is designed and situated on your property takes someone knowledgeable in all of these factors and more. You need a trusted guide who knows the ropes.

Keneth personally meets with you, inspects your property and listens. He takes everything to his team where they consider all that you have shared with all that they know. Once the perfect plan is revealed and agreed upon and the detailed proposal has been accepted, the excitement of the building process begins.
